Lake Minatare School's Parent Club is open to all families and extended family members. The Parent Club meets at 5:30 PM - usually on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Parents are given specific dates in The Mane Event which is the parent newsletter. The Parent Club sponsors traditional events and activities for families and students. Their fundraising efforts support special field trips, programs and classroom supplies that would not be available to our students without their help. They are always open to new ideas and suggestions and encourage participation at their meetings and activities. The Parent Club has sponsored:
- Classroom money for rewards and activities related to that particular grade level studies
- Santa's Workshop
- Soup Supper
- Penny Carnival
- Decorations for Christmas and Spring Concerts
- Open House Ice Cream Social
- Field Day
- Red Ribbon Week
- Teacher Appreciation Gifts
- Transportation and Admission Fees to Musicals and other activities in town
- many, many other things..
