For Athletes:
Waiting period - 10 years
Special circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis (e.g. sickness)
Stipulation referring to the good moral character issue during & after high school. The committee reserves the right to remove any inductee at any time for moral or character violations.
Major criteria would be accomplishments while attending Scottsbluff High School.
Accomplishments after SHS are considered, but not primary rationale.
Multiple sports are given high priority to encourage multi-sport participation.
All State recognition (Omaha World Herald & Lincoln Journal Star) is considered to be first or second team in one's sport (FB, VB, BB, SO, etc) or first or second in one’s individual event sport (Track, Wrestling, Swimming,Tennis, etc....). These athletes will be strongly considered for recognition.
Members of a team that participated in a State Championship/State Runner-Up will be given consideration. Other consideration may be given to school record holders.
For Coaches:
Waiting period - No waiting period.

Major criteria would be coaching accomplishments at Scottsbluff High School.
Accomplishments not at SHS are considered but not primary rationale.
For Teams:
Waiting period - 5 years
For Meritorious Service:
Will be considered on a case by case basis.
A person must have demonstrated exemplary service to the student athletes.
Families:
Will be considered on a case by case basis.
A family must have demonstrated exemplary service over the course of several generations to the Scottsbluff High School Athletic Department.
