Lake Minatare Elementary is without power and has been since approximately 7:45 AM. Chimney Rock Public Power does not currently have an ETA for when it will be restored. As a result, school will be dismissed at 10 AM for the remainder of the day. Parents can pick up their students at the main entrance. Any student who is picked up by a parent or guardian will have their absence excused.
